This week hasn’t been as cracked up as I thought it would be mainly due to me being ill.
Saturday: got my 400th cache, nothing special, just grabbing a couple of loose ends in the Warrington area with Jimbag and Callum.
Sunday: That’s when I started feeling ill.
Tuesday – Thursday: Off to centre parcs – didn’t want to let the side down so loaded the bikes on the car and headed off to Penrith to meet the family who went up the day before. unloaded the bags and bikes then met up at the swimming pool, went on a few flumes and rapids etc before chest got too bad then spent next day and 1/2 under duvet before having to head home Thursday morning.
Wednesday – Happy Birthday Killercache.
Thursday night – felt slightly recovered enough to still make the ‘Cache Au Chocolat’ GC38JF1 event, especially as I’d made all the chocolates – got a few votes but they were spread between the different types I made rather than collectively so didn’t stand a chance against the cakes that won it.
Friday: Doctors – Al & Babs wedding reception tonight but still touch and go if I can make it…
nope – too unwell, and turns out I have a chest infection.
Film / DVD : Real Steel – missed this at the cinema, I knew it was a kids film, but Scouser73 and I still liked it – I’m going to give it 4 out of 5 stars – worth a watch, very enjoyable, even if the formula and plot is as predictable as a rocky fight movie – lol
What I am watching:
UK TV: Sherlock Series 2 – V+’d this over the holidays and watched all 3 episodes practically back to back – great micro series, just wish they would make more and faster.
UK TV: Hustle, Jan 8th saw the 1st episode of series 8 start, the last series apparently, another great series
