Lilford Park
Lilford Faces: ancient carvings, or extraterestial signs
Killercache came round with Callum and I decided to take them to Lilford Park, there’s a nice play ground for the nipper and there are two caches that Killer doesn’t have yet, we also found these ancient stone carvings, I think they are surely signs of communication from extraterestial life forms. also the woods were great for exploring at this time of year.
Sunday: Another Novemeber Birthday, so today we went 10-pin bowling, had a ride on the dodgems and had Italian for tea.
Rest of the Week: pretty dull actually work work and more work, but on Tuesday I did manage to grab 1 geocache on my lunch break, it was in walking distance from the office so just headed out with a pen my iphone and my new trainers – ok the new trainers wasn’t such a good idea, anyway found it eventually coords weren’t great in the woods, but was a nice little hide, had to climb a tree to spot it, had I approached from the other direction I could have found it without the climb.
The week ahead: Yay its Payday finally!!! I want purchase a bike rack for my car, get it fitted and go for a bike ride if the weather is permitting, and it’s Tea at Killercaches house tonight.
Weekly Film Review: Arthur Christmas 3D, as mentioned last Friday, we went to the new Cineworld thats opened in Leigh, very nice and shiney new – wonder how long that will last. used tickets I bought with tesco vouchers, says valid for 3D films but they had to call manager over who said he’d let us off with the £1.50 uplift for 3D films this time, bugger that I’m going to use the other 2 I have at home for another 3D film soon, and I’ll be damned if I’m paying the uplift when the tickets clearly state they can be used for 3D films.
Anyway the film: typical Hollywood Christmas formula great one for kids, I was a little bored but Scouser73 liked it.
What am I watching:
UK TV: I’m a Celebrity get me outta here – Ant & Dec’s intros and comments are so funny
USA TV: Hung – started watching this as a fan of Thomas Jane, have watched Season 1 in a week.
